Tengboche Monastery

Everest Panorama Trek is an easier option than the full Everest trek with the highest point reached being the Buddhist monastery of Tengpoche (3867 metres). Tengpoche has the largest and most active monastery in the Khumbu and supports around 70 monks. Though the Everest valley Trek is shorter it certainly does not miss out on scenery, with panoramic views of all the Khumbu peaks including Everest itself. Most of the Everest Trekking goes through the Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park, which is a sanctuary for various types of animals and trees, which can be seen along the trail. Our walking days are about five hours with a long break for lunch, this gives plenty of time to acclimatize and enjoy the scenery. This Everest Trek is designed for people without a background of mountain walking, but who want to experience the amazing culture and scenery of this region. Tengboche monastery on the Everest Trek we organized Camping (Tents Camp) Trekking and Teahouse (Lodge Camp) but popular as lodged Trek.

Suggested Itinerary Duration : 10 days

• Day 01 Kathmandu – Lukla (L, D)Day 01 Kathmandu – Lukla (L, D) Fly 30 minutes to Lukla (2840 m) and trek to Phakding (2640 m) 04 hrs. Overnight at the Tented camp or Teahouse Lodge.
• Day 02 Phakding – Namche Bazaar Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, (3440 m), 06 hrs. Overnight at the Tented camp or Teahouse Lodge.
• Day 03 Namche Bazaar Rest and view the Mt. Everest with high range of Himalayas. Overnight at the Tented camp or Teahouse Lodge.
• Day 04 Namche Bazaar – Thame Trek from Namche Bazaar to Thame (3800m), 05 hrs. Overnight at the Tented camp or Teahouse Lodge.
• Day 05 Thame – Khumjung Trek from Thame to Khumjung (3790 m), 04 hrs. Overnight at the Tented camp or Teahouse Lodge.
• Day 06 Khumjung – Tengboche Trek from Khumjung to Tengboche (3860m), 05 hrs. Overnight at the Tented camp or Teahouse Lodge.
• Day 07 Tengboche Explore the surroundings. Overnight at the Tented camp or Teahouse Lodge.
• Day 08 Tengboche - Namche Bazaar Trek from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3440m), 05 hrs. Overnight at the tented camp or Teahouse Lodge.
• Day 09 Namche Bazaar - Lukla Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2840m), 07 hrs. Overnight at the Tented camp or Teahouse Lodge.
• Day 10 Lukla – Kathmandu (B) Fly to Kathmandu (30 min).
